How it all came about

The idea behind Table Rappers originally developed as a television screenplay sometime around 2002.

At that time, the characters and their world were developed, a television series 'bible' created, and second draft screenplays for the first two episodes written.
It is difficult enough for established and experienced writers to break their ideas into production, so after several years of collecting rejection slips and some programmes in a similar genre appearing on both main UK TV channels, I decided to mothball the project for a little while.

In 2007, the urge to begin writing something again came to the fore, and Table Rappers, with all its established characters and structured plots, was the perfect place to start.

Table Rappers: Persistent Spirit, was rewritten as a novel during the Summer of 2007, with plans to release as an audio novel in 2008, followed by a printed version.

Meanwhile, the subsequent books - Table Rappers: A Shot in Time and Table Rappers: The House of Mrs Benson - will be developed to create a continuous ongoing adventure for the characters I hope you will grow to love as much as I have.
At this time there are plans for at least 6 books in the series - there will hopefully be more, I just haven't thought about them yet!
